What our restaurant fit out contractors deliver

A restaurant earns nothing while it is shut. We run the strip-out, kitchen, bar and dining room as one programme, and build the back of house to work as hard as the front.

  • Kitchens

Commercial kitchens laid out for your menu, see restaurant kitchen fit-out.

  • Bars and servery

Servery and back-fit reworked for flow, as at The Gloucester Arms.

  • Dining rooms and lighting

New layout, zoning and lighting, as at Aunties in Seven Sisters.

  • Bespoke joinery

Bars, back-fits and display joinery made to suit the room.

  • Services

Electrics, plumbing and ventilation renewed behind the finish.

  • Pubs and period interiors

Character kept, fabric and services brought up to date.

From empty unit to opening night

Covers, menu, kitchen position and the date you want to open.

Layout, finishes and one lump-sum price against a clear scope.

Drawings and method statements for the landlord, designed to Building Regulations and the building's fire strategy.

At Aunties we stripped the unit back and rebuilt floors, walls, ceilings, partitions and lighting in 4 weeks.

Snags closed before handover. The Gloucester Arms reopened on programme.

Restaurant fit out contractors: your questions

How long does a restaurant fit-out take?

It depends on size and scope. Aunties, 83 sq m in Seven Sisters, took 4 weeks. The Gloucester Arms, a 300 sq m pub, took 10 weeks.

Do you design the restaurant as well as build it?

Yes. Layout, finishes, lighting and joinery are designed by our team and built by the same team under one contract.

Can you refurbish without closing the business?

Often, yes, with phased, night and weekend working. Drake's on Savile Row traded throughout its 12-week refit.

What does a restaurant fit-out cost?

We price each project as a lump sum after a site visit. Our restaurant fit-out guide explains what drives the cost.

What size of projects do you take on?

We take on projects from £100,000 to £10M+.

Do you fit out other commercial spaces?

Yes: offices such as Beaumont House, Portsoken House and its reception, and spas such as Medusa. See office fit out.
