Our expertise in home renovation

A London home renovation goes wrong in the handovers: architect to builder, builder to joiner, joiner to decorator. We design, build and finish the whole house ourselves, so one team answers for the result.

  • Full house renovation

Strip-out to final finishes for houses, apartments and penthouses.

  • Layout and structural changes

Walls removed for open-plan living, new doors and services reconfigured to suit.

  • Bespoke joinery

Wardrobes, dressing rooms and panelling designed for the room.

  • Kitchens and bathrooms

Stone, timber and glass, specified and fitted by the same team.

  • Lighting and smart home

Layered lighting and smart controls designed in, not added later.

  • Decoration and finishes

Specialist paint finishes, flooring, ironmongery and the details you see up close.

How your home renovation runs

We talk through what you want to change, then visit the property to see what it will allow.

Layouts, joinery and finishes agreed on drawings and samples, then priced as a lump sum so the budget is clear before work starts. Planning a full redesign? See interior design.

Survey, sequencing and early ordering of joinery and long-lead finishes, plus noise, access and neighbour protection agreed before anyone arrives.

Most of our labour is in-house. At Kensington Olympia the client didn't need to visit once during the works.

Every snag closed before you move back in, then a defined aftercare period as the house settles.

Home renovation in London: your questions

How much does a home renovation in London cost?

It depends on size, structure and specification. We take on home renovations from £100,000. Our prime refurbishment at Herbert Crescent in Knightsbridge was £1.5M for 450 m².

How long does a full house renovation take?

On our London homes: a 290 sq m penthouse at Pan Peninsula took 10 weeks, a 400 sq m penthouse at Kensington Olympia 12 weeks, and a 450 m² Knightsbridge house 32 weeks.

Can you renovate a flat in an occupied building?

Yes. Pan Peninsula and Kensington Olympia were both in buildings full of residents. We agreed deliveries, noise and waste with the building managers.

Do I need to be on site during the works?

No. The Kensington Olympia client did not visit once during construction, and we handed over with zero snags.

Do you also design?

Yes. Our design team handles layouts, interiors and joinery under the same contract. See high end residential architects and high-end interior design.

What is the difference between renovation and refurbishment?

A renovation changes how the home works, often with layout or structural changes. A refurbishment renews what is there: finishes, services, kitchens and bathrooms. Most of our projects are both. More on house renovation in London.
